Hi there.

It doesn't really make me think of peace.

It's almost suspenseful. Like, I'm not sure what will happen next. You create a bit of tension then resolve it with the nice melodies that come afterwards.

Keep it up!
Check me out!

Tanks very much! I actually agree It isn't peace-like. I just couldn't think of a name for it lol.

I love the feel of it

I only wish it was a bit more jazzy. Throw in some cymbal rides. maybe some rhodes or an upright pluck. would be off the hook. I like the subtle use of the synths. keeping it some what organic. I LOVE IT!

Keep it up

Alakazamm responds:

Cheers!

I'm not sure what Rhodes are but I'll make a more upbeat Drum N Bass one day...

And I Think To Myself...

Haha. I like this song. The strings were a bit weird though.... =\

If there were better strings this would be great!

strings are good to me the wierd sound you hear is an edited violin I made it this way to make happy song to like a sadish song happy Piano mixed with a downish none harmonicish Violin + undering slightly unheared Strings.

Great

First off, congratulations on being this week's featured artist.
I'm loving the main arp melody in this. The ambiance in the beginning was awesome. Everything was put together very well.

The only thing I didn't like were the crashes. It just didn't fit the song and there was too much of it for my tastes. Maybe a higher splash with less reverb?

Great song. A deserving artist for the weekly featured.

KrimsonXtidE responds:

This is kinda late of a response, but yeah...thanks for your input. Yeah, my crashes need a lot of work. And damn! I didn't even know I was the week's featured artist, let alone people even liked my music. Thanks for the rating and the advice.

Nice

I can totally hear this in some sort of market in an RPG.

phexion responds:

A market you say? When I wrote this piece I was thinking of a factory type setting over producing some sort of mechanical robots etc but the market gives me ideas for other possibilites, thanks.

Ooo

HEY RED 7!!! As always, I love your beat. I've never heard the original, but I can thoroughly enjoy it here. I can't get over how much I love your beats man. :)) I need to hear something from you that you made in 2008!!!!!!!

Redse7en responds:

2008 didn't yield that many tracks. Sorry, but I had to go through some very horrible times and just didn't have the spirit. 2009 is here now and I'm hoping to bust out more songs that are more up to date with the times. Still trying to learn my style.

Agreed with BacterialBag

It really does have that lounge style, along with the minimal instrumentation. Only using what you need to the the job done. I kind of like it. It's really mellow and chilled out. Good job C3nt!!!!

C3NTAURI0N responds:

Thanks, as I have said to BacterialBag, House will be and probably always will be my strong point in music...

Really I should produce more but i have college and a job to do so whatever free time I get I try and spend it on the creation of music... More should come soon........ Maybe.

C3 - 2008

How's it goin?

I like that "screaming" synth with the slow moving bassline. I only wish that the bassline was a little more aggressive. It could still be moving slowly but, maybe a bit louder?
I feel that the bassline should match the beat of a song.

Since you have the low bassline, and the high screams, I think you need a little something inbetween. Maybe even a simple first note hit that echoes throughout and changes when the notes of your bassline changes.

I see great potential in this song. Truly.

ps. I saw an old review you did of one of my songs. paying back the favor. :)

Mid-Night responds:

Holy snaps, I haven't seen you in forever, yeah, You've reviewed me a few times, and I reviewed you a few times...and good times were had all around!

This is saxy ;)

I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. I felt that at the 0:32 point, the sax and deep strings came in a bit suddenly. Maybe try introducing a few noted in the beginning, soften up the volume a bit and make it more noticeable when you want it to begin.

Great sounds, fantastic melodies, magnificent mood.
I love the story it tells.

SolusLunes responds:

There are no deep strings, but I wanted the sax to be cutting.

Actually

I don't think this would fall under the Classical genre. This is more Ambient, or Chill-Out with Down-Tempo influences. I love it though!!! GREAT WORK!

TheCon-Sept responds:

It has been too long since I have even seen you submit something i2....
