is that a sample from a previously remixed braveheart..? i believe it is. that must be the sample you're talking about on the front.

pretty good effects, strong steady beat. love the pads. good bassline. love the synths. the builds were phenominal. but it's still "just a remix".

you copied the melody but with a different instrument. i would've liked to hear your own personal melody in here to let everyone know, "yes this is my own." i understand that you were trying to preserve the epic qualities of the already magnificent song, but make it a little more personal with your own main melos.

gj with that freedom vocal.

it starts off pretty slow..
i hear some distortion. in the synth.
wow.. i love that little vocal thing! "OH YEEEAAAAA!!!"

if you toned down that main synth just a bit i can see this being played at like a chilled ass lounge or somethin..

i like that synth! the choir and everything in the back meshes very well.

the bassline stood out too much at first.

i wasn't enjoying the second synth all too much... or that wet synth.. =\

there's a whole lot goin on in the song right now.. its a bit much for me. kind of overwhelming.

thats a nice steady beat.. but i would've liked to hear more diversity in it..

just a bit of constructive criticism. ;)

Yeah the bass has to be loud in order to make it hearable later when the song is on full power.
I chose those synths because they sound like generic trance, and that's what I wanted to make. I was also aiming for overwhelming so it's good to hear it is like that. The drums... well I guess I was lazy again and put in some basic fl kick with some snares and hihats exported from Ibiza eJay. I'm a champion in being lazy:)
That's the kind of review I like. I'll check out your stuff tomorrow.

i lovvvveeeddd everything. except the main flute... too fast of a melody for me..
you put together every so very well. it built up great. strong steady beat. good synths. good melodies. you definately know what you're doing.

i love the melody changes.

its just that the melodies are way too fast for my taste.. it gets a bit irritating to me.

great job overall!

yeh I thought everything was too fast as well. I only made this cus a dude wanted to hear my fast arpeggio songs I used to make. Slow hard trance I prefur, so I guess I gotta find a blend

really nice!
great job matching up the vocal on tempo and with the melodies.

melodies were pretty cool, i like how you introduced some of them. the piano however, sounds like it needs some reverb. it sounds.. a little plain? gj on the bells in the bg.

i think you could add some delay effect for the vocal, make it more echoey? lol.. i'm a sucker for reverb and delay.

love the strong kicks. its a bit too happy for me.. must be he bells. but GREAT WORK!!

i love it, really dark. not a fan of that synth though. but it still brought something to the song. favorite part was the simple piano. and the bass. keep it up man.

first of all.. congratulations on the top 3 weekly faves spots!! you greedy bastard!

this was awesome, love the glitches.
the beat sounded REALLY repetitive though. sounded the same the whole way through except the glitches. then another beat comes out on top of the already laying beat.

i like how it sounded chaotic though. =)

lovin the bass so much! not too much but enough to bang.

great melodies. i've always loved your basslines. great use of synths. how did you think up all these different melodies for one song?!?

i liked the changes in here, how it went to a slower beat, then the melody that fit very well with the slow beat but just as perfect with the faster one.

Yea I thought I would put you into the description since you critiqued this song and told me to work on it which led me to this :) As always I can seem to do energy just fine but when I have to slow down in a song it's kinda hard. Heh guess it's the downfall to all my energetic songs. Very glad you liked the bass tho cause I was told it wasnt hard or loud enough to hear well to fit with the song but I kept it the way it was cause it would have been distorted. I really dont know how I come up with things like this. Most of this song was experimental to begin with. I kept like 1/2 of all the things I tested and it eventually led me to this. I'm glad you noticed the slow down. It took me quite a bit to make it sound the same type of drums but restretch some samples and still have it quality material. I got some new things I'm working on now and don't worry :) this song is only 1 out of 3 for my "Bolt-Action" DnB series all featuring 178 bpm so it connects smoothly. I also got a couple of techno tracks I've been working on lately. Hit me up on AIM or something cause I need your sugguestions. Thanks for stopping by and the nice review!
